Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using TrufinOps. By accessing or using any part of trufinops.com, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part, please do not use our platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the TrufinOps website (trufinops.com), including all calculators, guides, and paid services (collectively, the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

2. Description of Services

TrufinOps provides two categories of services:

Free calculators and guides — EMI, SIP, FD, HRA, and Rate of Return calculators, along with educational financial guides. These are provided free of charge with no sign-up required.
RentSafe (paid service) — TDS filing under Section 194IB of the Income Tax Act, 1961. This is a paid service priced at ₹299 per monthly filing (or applicable plan pricing). By using RentSafe, you agree to additional terms specific to this service as outlined in Section 6.

3. No Financial or Legal Advice

All content on TrufinOps — including calculators, blog articles, guides, and any communications — is provided for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on this Platform constitutes:

Professional financial advice
Tax advice or a substitute for professional tax consultation
Legal advice
Insurance advice or recommendation
Investment advice regulated under SEBI

Calculator results are indicative estimates based on standard formulas. Always verify important financial decisions with a qualified Chartered Accountant, financial advisor, or legal professional. TrufinOps is not a SEBI-registered investment advisor or IRDAI-licensed insurance intermediary.

4. Accuracy of Calculator Results

While we use industry-standard formulas to power our calculators, results may differ from actual bank or institution calculations due to rounding conventions, fee structures, or policy variations. TrufinOps makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of calculator outputs for your specific situation. We are not liable for any financial decisions made based on calculator results.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform
Scrape, copy, or reproduce calculator engines or content without written permission
Submit false or misleading information when using RentSafe
Impersonate any person or entity

6. RentSafe — Paid Service Terms

By using the RentSafe TDS filing service, you additionally agree to the following:

Accuracy of information: You are responsible for providing accurate PAN numbers, rent amounts, rental period, and landlord details. TrufinOps is not liable for penalties arising from incorrect information supplied by you.
Service scope: RentSafe handles TDS calculation, Challan 281 deposit, Form 26QC filing, and Form 16C generation. We do not file your annual Income Tax Return (ITR) or provide audit services.
Timeline: Form 26QC is typically filed within 72 hours of payment confirmation. Delays may occur due to government portal downtime, bank holidays, or incomplete information. We will notify you of any delays.
Payment: All payments are processed via Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. TrufinOps does not store your card or bank account details.
Penalty guarantee: If you receive a penalty or interest notice directly caused by an error on our part (not arising from incorrect information you provided), we will cover the penalty amount. This guarantee is subject to the penalty amount not exceeding the service fees paid and our verification of the error's source.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on TrufinOps — including calculator code, blog articles, design, and branding — is the intellectual property of TrufinOps and protected under applicable Indian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without prior written consent.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Calculator inputs are processed locally in your browser and never transmitted to our servers. RentSafe data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy and Section 6 above.

9. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., government portals, regulatory bodies). TrufinOps is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party site. Links do not constitute endorsement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TrufinOps, its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or reliance on any content herein. Our total liability for any claim related to the RentSafe service shall not exceed the amount you paid for that specific filing.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in New Delhi, India. We encourage you to contact us first at hello@trufinops.com to resolve any disputes informally before initiating legal proceedings.

12. Changes to Terms

TrufinOps reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
